For Those Just Learning To Walk

Here is where we prepare you for the long journey ahead. Starting with the right tools and understanding. Once you have a few materials, you'll be ready for the "Long Walk". Taking the "LAW" and "WORD" to the "Lawless" and "Wordless". Similar to the "Long Walk" in the movie Judge Dredd (1995).

Packing Our Bag For The Journey

If you've never read the Bible I would suggest starting there. I would recommend a King James Version Bible since it will be more accurate to the original texts, not the "New King James Version". Other versions are paraphrased quite a bit to make it easier to read and understand, this also takes away from the original wording / meaning.

My 1st time reading the Bible I used the Max Lucado Devotional Bible (New Century Version), it's a great Bible and great for studying, but there's a clear difference in wording and language used. I prefer original text and / or the closest to it. With only reading a few pages a night I was able to finish the Bible in about a year.

For all six of the books on the right it's about $142.69 with tax on Amazon. All the books have links except the KJV Bible. The one I purchased is great except for a few minor discrepancies which is why I didn't link it. It was only about $16, so give or take maybe a $10-$40 dollar difference depending on what KJV Bible you buy.

Many books were removed or not added into the Bible for numerous reasons, ranging from being thought of as too far fetched, blasphemous, to just plain manipulating the message of GOD in order to manipulate people. Think of the movie "The Book Of Eli", Knowledge is power, remember that. These books are called the Apocrypha books. The Bible isn't just one "Book", it's a compilation of 66 books written by different servants of GOD throughout the ages.

"Skeptics have pointed out that over three thousand books were candidates for inclusion in the New Testament canon alone, and only a handful (twenty-some books) were selected. Doesn’t that raise some serious questions? Isn’t it possible that certain books that are in the Bible should not be there and others that were excluded by human evaluation and human judgment should have been included?" - R.C. Sproul

Some of the books on my list show up in other books on my list as well. It's an unfortunate headache of playing the miss and match game. But each book does contain books the others don't.

Reading Plan

As stated before if you haven't read the Bible I would start there. If you have, it would still be a good refresher especially when diving into the Apocrypha books. Remember, this is literally like watching a Netflix series, each book is part of the story and timeline, you will see many of the same references throughout many different books as well as more in depth information. The fresher the information is in your mind, the better you will see and understand.

As far as reading the Apocrypha books, I started with "The Books Of Enoch". Reason being, these books relate more to this time frame as well as past and future events. With that being said you can read the Apocrypha books in whatever order you choose. But also be aware there are some books in the Apocrypha that are additions to those in the Bible, such as the "Additions Of Esther", "Wisdom Of Solomon", etc. Read when you can, even if it's just a few pages a day.

For digital reading I would suggest using King James Bible Online, they also have some of the apocrypha books as well. There's also some apocrypha books in the Rabbit Hole towards the bottom.

Taking The Next Step

"Many times have you desired to hear these words which I am saying to you, and you have no one else to hear them from. There will be days when you will look for me and will not find me." Jesus said, "The pharisees and the scribes have taken the keys of knowledge (gnosis) and hidden them. They themselves have not entered, nor have they allowed to enter those who wish to. You, however, be as wise as serpents and as innocent as doves." - Gospel Of Thomas 1:38-39

Now that were geared up we can hit the open road. I won't lie to you, the road is only going to get harder from here on out. Just remember one foot in front of the other, one day at a time. Unfortunately GOD'S people have to endure more pain in life than others, especially in this time. As you start your journey you will begin to understand why. Moses, Solomon, Job, and Jesus can explain it pretty well. If you were looking for an easy road or an easy way out this isn't it. Remember, endure, love, sacrifice, work, and have faith.

Guiding Light

There are many tools and resources on this site to help you on your journey, think of them like puzzle pieces. These in a sense, represent the same puzzle pieces we search for and find in life. Some are here, some are there, and some still waiting to be found. Be sure to check the Sermons, Vlog, and of course the Rabbit Hole. Godspeed! I would recommend your next stop being this article "Finding Jesus, Harder Now More Than Ever". And "The Bible and Its Relation to the Matrix".

The "Long Walk"

The "Long Walk" is part "Reality", and part "Symbolic". The reality is, all of the Lords "True Servants" endure many hardships in life. From being crucified, beheaded, beaten, stoned to death, robbed, murdered, raped, etc. The book of Ecclesiastes (Pure Wisdom) can explain "Life" pretty well. Key points being, expect to be alone, expect to feel and live with much sorrow, think like a soldier and keep advancing. Taking this path will make you a "Bigger Target", remember, were at "WAR".

The clip below in a sense, signifies what it takes to be a servant of GOD. To be in the desert, alone, taking the Law and Word to the Lawless and Wordless. If this isn't what your walk with the Lord looks or feels like, you may not be walking with the Lord, but instead the "Crowd".

The Secret Of Life

Secret Of Life, "Learn to accept that your already dead, in that way may you learn how to LIVE. When Jesus died on the cross the world became DEATH ROW. Those who died before were reborn to be given the opportunity at forgiveness, that time is coming to an end soon. The Warden will reap what is good, and the rest ripped from the soil. Let them who have ears listen, Let them who have eyes see." - The Teacher
